1. Receptionist / MOA cannot provide any lab or imaging results over the phone or in person to patients
- There is not enough time & manpower with ONE staff member to be making these calls + it is outside of her scope of practice
- The doctor will call himself, if needed. If you want to discuss results, you need to make an appointment

2. No appointment or screening reminders
- Pts need to carry some accountability for their own health
3. Pt abuse of staff will not be tolerated (details here)
4. No Walk-ins will be seen
- Front staff will say NO to all walk-in requests and all patients that expect to get imaging, labs, forms, etc without a scheduled appointment.
5. Patients cannot continue to be seen at clinic once they have found a new family physician
- Patients need continuity of care with their new physician. 1 in 5 patients in AB do not have a GP.
- Charts will be transferred electronically to the requesting clinic when time permits. Large amounts of information other than a summary page cannot be printed for patients. This is not how doctors review new patients charts – they review it as a PDF in the electronic medical record.
